FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Answers about ordering, identity evidence, processing, privacy, price and secure delivery of a Swiss debt-register extract.

Is Auszug24 a debt-enforcement office?

No. Auszug24 is a private ordering service operated by SMART GmbH. SMART GmbH directly transmits complete requests electronically; the official extract is issued by the responsible debt-enforcement office.

What does direct eSchKG participation mean?

The eSchKG network is administered and organised by the Swiss Federal Office of Justice for the secure electronic exchange of debt-enforcement data. SMART GmbH participates directly and does not need an external order intermediary for transmission.

Is the digital debt-register extract official and verifiable?

Yes. Your extract is an official PDF issued and electronically signed by the responsible debt-enforcement office. You can check for free at validator.admin.ch that it is genuine and has not been changed since signing. This checks the document’s authenticity, not the accuracy of the register entries.

Which identity documents are accepted?

The Swiss passport, Swiss identity card, and expressly approved Swiss residence permits are accepted. Driving licences are not accepted.

How long does delivery take?

The order journey takes about three minutes. Subsequent processing depends on the responsible office, complete information, and technical availability. A specific timeframe is shown only when supported by verified data.

How long is order data retained?

Completed-order data may be retained for up to 365 days for fulfilment, secure access, support, evidence, security, and legal-rights handling. Details and exceptions are set out in the privacy notice.

What happens if information is false or irrelevant?

Information is checked before transmission. If controls are bypassed with false, irrelevant, manipulated, or deliberately incomplete information, the agreed service may be treated as completed and a refund may be excluded. Mandatory rights remain reserved.

How do I get support?

Use the protected contact form and include the order number where available. Do not submit identity documents in a general free-text field.
